>> COMETA 2021

In co-production with VORPOMMERN TANZT AN (Germany)

“It is good to renew one's wonder — said the philosopher —.
Space travel has again made children of us all.”
Rad Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true art and science.”
Albert Einstein

On a space shuttle, helmet in hand, we will meet a cosmonaut. COMETA is an unexpected traveler who invites us, through her curiosity and her discoveries, to look at our immediate surroundings with new eyes. With the gaze of a child. We will get on board of a galactic adventure where to wonder at the force of gravity, the possibilities of movement and the power of empathy. At geometry, playfulness and the speed of light. The universe, imagination and interstellar journeys. And most of all, we will celebrate that we have met each other!

"In Cometa, her first creation for young audiences, Roser López Espinosa sends the children on a journey of adventure and imagination that begins on stage and ends in an unknown galaxy full of surprises." Rheinische Post (Germany)

"
Cometa is one of those dance pieces for children and young people that have the same quality and artistic complexity as many others that are made for adult audiences. Without forgetting that, if Cometa has been able to keep people of different ages connected and in suspense, we are in front of a reference to which to allude, so that the works of this sector are more present in the programmes of all dance festivals". Achtung! Magazine (Spain)

Recommended for children aged 6 to 10.

COMETA has a theater version (for schools and for family programs) and a version for eductional projects inside primary school classrooms
.
