Roser López Espinosa's choreographic work is based in a strong physicality, with great passion for precision, delicacy, acrobatic elements and detail. Collaboration and teamwork go hand in hand in a vital and playful imaginary, with refined poetics and a touch of humour.

Graduated in contemporary dance in the MTD / AHK - Higher School of Arts in Amsterdam, in 2005 she was awarded a danceWEB scholarship in ImpulsTanz in Vienna and trained with former Olympic gymnastics coach Jaume Miró in Barcelona.

She has danced in The Netherlands with Katie Duck / Magpie Dance Music Company, Marta Reig Torres and Pere Faura. In Barcelona, she has worked with Àngels Margarit / Cia Mudances (Capricis, Flexelf, Kolbebasar and internationally renown solo Corol·la), Cesc Gelabert, Lipi Hernández, theater director Iago Pericot and filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta, among others.

Her choreographic work has received international recognition with several prizes (for The lizard's skin, Còncau, Miniatura, Trama) and nominations, being regularly present at international stages since works such as Lowland, November and Hand to hand. In 2017 she created L'estol for the National Dance Production of Catalonia, which was Nominated for Best Choreography 2017 at the XX Critics Awards. In 2019 she premiered the group piece Trama in Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, Awarded Best Choreography 2019 at the XXII Critics Awards and Nominated for Best Choreography 2019 at XXV Premis Butaca.

In
2020 she collaborated with company Skånes Dansteater for the third time, with the creation of Fine Lines for the inclusive dance program Europe Beyond Access, followed by a European tour. That same year she premiered Revel Revel for the Zagreb Dance Company (Croatia), Nominated for the Croatian Association of Perfoming Arts for Best Dance Production and for Best Female Dancer - Petra Valentić. And November was Nominated at the XXVI Butaca Awards: for Best Choreography and for Best Dancer - Roser López Espinosa.

Cometa
has been perfomed 150 times since its premiere!

She is a guest choreographer for international companies, such as Skånes Dansteater (Sweden), Conny Janssen Danst (The Netherlands), Zagreb Dance Company (Croatia), MiR Dance Company (Germany) and Scottish Dancer Theater (UK), among others. She has also collaborated with circus companies such as MuMusic CIrcus, Circ Pànic and INO Collektive in Catalonia and Compagnie XY (France), as well as with documentary theater companies like La Conquesta del Pol Sud (Catalonia). And she is a guest teacher at international centres and festivals, like the Modern Theater Dance in Amsterdam and Artez in Arnhem (The Netherlands), UNAQ - Universitad Autónoma de Querétaro (Mexico), REVÉS (Costa Rica) and Escuela Nacional de Danza del SODRE in Montevideo (Uruguay), etc. She practices Aikido since 2020.

She is an
associated artist in creation centre La Caldera since 2012. She has been a resident artist in theater Mercat de les Flors 2018-21 in Barcelona and is an exchange resident artist 2022 with the NTCH - National Theater & Concert Hall in Taipei (Taiwan) in collaboration with Mercat de les Flors.

Her work has been programmed in European and Latin American international festivals as well as in Egypt, Canada, South Korea and Japan.
